For anyone who really knows my husband and I, you know we share a love for the sitcom, Scrubs. It was one of the first things we found out we had in common and our first few dates consisted of nights hanging out and watching all the seasons of Scrubs on DVD. Aaand, for the rest of you Scrub lovers you know that JD loves Appletini's. With our green apple theme, it seemed silly to not incorporate Appletini's as our signature drink. I recommend using signature drinks to help tie in your theme. Signature drinks are also smart if you want to save on money. If you focus on one cocktail you won't have to spend a lot of your budget on a bunch of liquor. We also had beer, wine, and champagne available, but cutting back on the liquor goes a long way. If you're having a hard time figuring out a signature drink for your event, try finding drinks that simply match your color scheme!

Wedding: Apples to Apples
Can you guess what our theme for the wedding is?! Granny Smith Apples! I got the idea one day when we were talking about how old ladyish my name is. And that my lastname will eventually become Smith, so one day I may very well be Granny Agnes Smith :P Plus, I've always had a thing for apples and chartreuse so it all just worked out in the end. I cleaned out my local Dollar Tree of all their plastic apples. You can also order them in bulk by calling their distributing warehouse which is conveniently located in Chesapeake, VA.
This is my final color palette. Which I just noticed are the same colors as our current bedroom. I guess I just really love those colors :)Also, we met with our Pastor today so it looks like our date will be in
In other event planning news, my big sister's baby shower is this weekend! The bestie and I will be doing a bake fest this weekend since I am making the favors by hand. So be sure to check back for pics of how the event went, pics of how my handmade baby gifts turned out, and maybe a surprise freebie for you readers? Stay tuned yall!

An apple a day...
Lala...hello everybody. I've been having a couple of rough mornings, so I've been "self-medicating" with Caramel Macchiatos for breakfast the past few mornings haha :P Not the healthiest but still very much needed. As some may know, my fave breakfast is actually slices of apples and sharp cheddar cheese.
I love love apples. I wasn't such a big fan of them until I got preggers with Carmen. I was lucky enough to crave something healthy and delicious. Now I am addicted to apples. So I thought it was pretty clever when I came across this Apple A Day Poster on Etsy. Basically, you put the little stickers from your apples on the grid poster and when its all filled up-viola! Instant pop-art. I'd have one of these babies filled up in no time ;)
